2. Principle

Protecting your personal data is important to me. I process your data exclusively within the framework of the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP). This website is deliberately built to be data-minimal. It uses the analytics service Google Analytics, but only after you have given your consent via the cookie notice. Without your consent, no analytics cookies are set.

3. Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited. Google Analytics uses cookies that enable an analysis of your use of the website. IP addresses are processed in truncated form. The analysis only takes place if you have given your consent via the cookie notice. You can withdraw or adjust your consent at any time via the "Cookie settings" link in the footer of the website. The legal basis is your consent. 4. Google Ads and conversion measurement

This website uses Google Ads, the advertising service of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. If you reach this website through a Google ad, Google Ads processes identifiers such as the click ID (GCLID) and advertising cookies — with your consent — in order to measure which ad led to an enquiry or a booking. This measurement takes place solely on the basis of your consent; you can withdraw it at any time via the cookie settings in the footer.

Enhanced conversions: if you submit the contact form or book an appointment after consenting to advertising cookies, the contact details you entered — email address, phone number and first and last name — are hashed in your browser using SHA-256 and transmitted to Google in that hashed form only. Google uses these hashes solely to match a conversion to a preceding ad click. No contact details are transmitted to Google without your consent.

Consent Mode v2: the Google services on this website are configured so that no advertising or analytics cookies are set before you consent; ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization and analytics_storage default to “denied”. If you decline, they stay that way. In that case Google may derive statistical estimates from aggregated, non-personal signals (conversion modelling). No attribution to you as an individual takes place.

Processing by Google may also take place on servers in the USA. Further information is available in Google's privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy.

5. Microsoft Clarity

This website uses Microsoft Clarity, an analytics service provided by Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited, One Microsoft Place, South County Business Park, Leopardstown, Dublin 18, Ireland. Clarity is only loaded if you give your consent in the cookie notice. You can withdraw this consent at any time via the cookie settings in the footer; the Clarity cookies are then deleted. Clarity records how visitors interact with the site — such as mouse movement, clicks and scrolling — and produces aggregated reports and session recordings from that. Text entered into form fields is not captured in clear text. Processing may also take place on servers in the USA. Further information is available in Microsoft's privacy statement.

6. Visiting the website (hosting and CDN)

This website is hosted by Multimedia Networks AG (Hoststar), Kirchgasse 30, CH-3312 Fraubrunnen, Switzerland (commercial register CH-053.3.017.401-4, UID CHE-112.417.413). Hosting therefore takes place entirely in Switzerland; the host does not transfer data abroad. When you visit the site, technically necessary data that your browser transmits automatically is processed, such as IP address, date and time of access, browser type and operating system. This data serves solely the secure and stable operation of the website and is not used to identify individual persons.

The website sits behind a content delivery network operated by Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. Cloudflare speeds up delivery of the site and protects it against attacks. All traffic between your browser and this website passes through Cloudflare's servers, which means Cloudflare processes technical connection data such as your IP address. This processing may also take place outside Switzerland and the EU, in particular in the USA; Cloudflare relies on standard contractual clauses for this.

7. Contact and contact form

If you contact me by email or telephone, the information you provide is stored in order to process your enquiry and for any follow-up questions. I do not pass this data on without your consent and use it solely to communicate with you.

For the contact form on this website I use the service Web3Forms, operated by Web3Creative, India. When you submit the form, the information you entered — name, email address, phone number and message — is processed via Web3Forms and delivered to me by email. According to the provider, the application runs on servers in Frankfurt am Main, Germany, involving sub-processors in the USA on the basis of standard contractual clauses; submissions are stored there for a limited period and then deleted. If you would prefer to avoid this service, you can reach me directly by email at info@marcolaterza.com.

8. Appointment booking

For booking an initial consultation, I use the service SavvyCal (SavvyCal, LLC, USA). When you book an appointment, the data you enter there, such as name, email address and preferred time, is processed by SavvyCal to arrange the appointment. SavvyCal's privacy policy applies.

9. Your rights

You have the right at any time to:

• Information about the data stored about you
• Correction of inaccurate data
• Deletion of your data
• Restriction of processing

To exercise these rights, an informal email to info@marcolaterza.com is sufficient. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC), Feldeggweg 1, 3003 Bern.

10. Changes

I reserve the right to adapt this privacy policy if this becomes necessary due to new features or changed legal requirements.
